Tom Livizos was born in Aliquippa Pennsylvania and raised in New York City from parent who emigrated from the Greek island Lemnos
Tom Livizos enlisted in the Army during WWII on his 18th birthday. Tom joined the 29th Infantry Division and was part of the first wave that landed and fought on D-Day June 6 1944 on Omaha Beach in Normandy France. Days after the invasion while out on patrol Tom was captured and wounded by the German army and imprisoned in a French convent in Rimes France. While imprisoned in Rimes France Tom was nursed back to health by French nuns and managed to escaped from the German prison with the help of the French Underground.
Tom Livizos was awarded the Purple heart and the Bronze Star for bravery and was honorably discharged for his service.
Tom enrolled into the University Of Delaware after WWII and graduated with a BA in American History
Tom entered Real Estate in 1951 and opened his own independent office in 1954
Tom Livizos has been director of New Castle County board of Realtors, a member of the Professional Standard Committee as well as other major committees.
Tom Livizos has been involved in all phases of Real Estate :Residential, Commercial, Land Development, Syndication , Building, Counseling Business Opportunities and Property Management
During Toms real estate career Tom Livizos has owned and managed 5 real estate offices and over 125 sales agents.In Delaware courts Tom Livizos is considered an expert witness in matters related to real estate values pertaining to Delaware properties
Tom Livizos has personally SOLD over 5,000 properties all over New Castle county from $100,000 to well over $1,000,000
Tom Livizos hold the Real Estate designations of GRI, CRB & CRS
